Do you guys remember way back when there was a dude with another site - he had personal pictures, stories, etc. - that was on here quite a bit and he basically shut it down because someone was trolling all the time? Anyway, he basically said, "Hey troll, no matter which username you post on, you have the same IP address so I know it's you. Get a life."

I don't think he shut it down because of the troll, but he definitely lost interest and it became more of a posters vs. trolls blog than a fun site.

Since the mods seem pretty willing to shut down most of the sock puppets, I tend to look at the situation as a kind game of wack-a-mole. We all get a shot at him.

Yes, if we are speaking of the same person, that was Nick & Nat; he generated a bit of flack because many had problems with fact he was in fifties and she was 19. During my last check, they are together and "happily" married

I dont see what the problem is, I hope when I am in my fifties my wife will be nineteen. She said she feels younger all the time and since we are 13 hrs behind her hometown she gets younger.

That's it! They seemed to be perfectly happy together but there were a lot of folks who came from here on VJ and totally blasted them on their own site. I don't even think their age difference was that signicant, only like 18 years or something, but maybe it was more like 30.

Anyway, those "do gooders" would've been better off sitting outside the embassy in Manilla watching grandpa take home his new housekeeper. Er, um, I mean the "well-established" older gentlemen taking home their "energetic and vibrant" young brides. For some reason though, they never found that offensive, it was only when a young beautiful Eastern European woman married a middle-aged man who would be considered by some to be a "good catch." I happened to read the fine print of the Russian Wife in America Guide and it said something in there about "you can't directly lie to your new husband... but, if he's stupid enough to believe whatever fairy story you weave, then keep on spinnin!"

We saw during the Olympics that Chinese girls are whatever age they want to be, provided the government controls their whole lives from the time they're three years old. I'm sure you could work a deal with someone over there to find you a "15-year-old." And if that doesn't work, there's always Phnom Penh!

She's really quite the catch. We're going steady now, she gets her braces off in a couple months, *AND* she promised I'd be her prom date if I bought her Jonas Brothers tickets! I mean, sure, it's a little awkward that I'm older than her dad...and her grandfather...but what matters most is that we're happy together.
