Due to my hectic schedule here in tagaytay...i wasn't able to share to everyone that my VISA has been APPROVED during my June 18 interview...Thanks God...It's really unforgettable... hehe

1st... bring out your appointment letter n confirmation letter and show it to the guard

2nd...the guard will tell u what door you're going to

3rd... go the NIV building, ul be askd to sit down... while sitting, someone from the embassy will assist you in filling up the application form... better fill up all your application forms before u go there...2 copies of DS 156, 2 copies of 157,1 copy of DS 156k...

for DS 156-item 37...crossed out NO if u dont have that people in US, cross out yes if u have that in US, in DS 157...item 10( countries that have ever issued you a passport) put Philippines, esp if it is the only country that issued u a pasport

4th... just wait until someone called you to go the ticket booth...

In the ticket booth, bring out and submit your appointment letter, confirmation letter, 2 visa photographs, all your answered application forms... the one in the booth will give u air21 form and ticket number for interview...

5th... go back to your chair and wait for your name and number to be called and flash on screen for:

a. finger scanning...make sure that your nails are clean ha... hehe ( after this just sit down and wait again to be called for...

b. pre-screening...based on my experience... i'm so blessed and lucky to have a very polite one for my pre screening..he's an old man.. i think in 60's... we're just talking n talking... hahaha so cool... he even asked the restaurant here in tagaytay, my rate for weddings coz i played piano during weddings... he even told me that i'm sweet to my fiance... he's helping me to be at ease n relax... then he asked my birth certificate, CENOMAR n NBI... then affidavit of support, but when he saw my folder of evidence of support... he asked me if i can give everything... hahaha coz he saw that i have everything( ITR 2008 w W2, employment letter and recent pay stubs), he askd me if i have cards, i said " yes"..i get my other folder ( evidence of genuine relationship)... when he saw that i have lots of evidences like chats, emails, cards, western receipts, yahoo calls... he said... " cge akin nayan lahat... pasa mo lahat yan... " hahaha... the last thing he askd was our pictures... i prepared 2 folders for that... 1 folder for our pictures together only where in he said that i'm very sweet and he can see it to me, the other folder contains of our pictures together with my family, then friends then relatives...he was so happy to see that i have everything... so he said.. okay u can go back and wait again for your final interview and he said thank you...grabe tlga ung smile ko when i went back to my chair and tell the other applicants my pre screening interview... hehe

c. i waited again for a few minutes for my FINAL interview... my name was called... Gosh! this is it!!! a girl assisted me to come inside... 2 windows in one room... when i come in i saw an american guy interviewing a filipino guy, so i went to the other window where i will be interview...whew! got surprised... a black american woman... so tough...opposite of my pre screener... hahaha ... since i got tense ... my porfollio fell down.. hahaha... pero ciempre all u have t do is just carry yourself...

she asked me to raise my hands and tell everything written in my applications were true...

questions: 1. what is my name

2. age

3. fiance's name

4. age

5. when n where did i meet my fiance?

6. circumstances of our relationship

7. how many he visited me?

8. did he meet my parents and did i meet his parents

9. when did he propose for marriage?

10. how come he visited me only once?

what i noticed about her she doesn't want a one question n one answer... she wants me to tell everything hahahaha

there are some things that i shared with her that she smiled and got surprise because even though she was not asking the daughter of my fiance.. i had the courage to tell things about his daughter... she got even amazed how my fiance got interested on me...(actually, when my fiance saw my profile name in my friend's friendster account, he got curious about me.. because my name is maya maya... coz he called his daughter maya... when he opened up and read my profile... he knew that i'm form tagaytay where in they have a vacation house also in tagaytay... ) i told these things to the consul hahaha... coz at first she was not convinced... because my fiance visited me once only, i have to prove her how we maintained our relationship withouit seeing each other for 2 yrs...so i paused for a while and started talking these things hahaha....until i heard.. okay.. ur VISA has been approved...i said ha? o thank you po... haha she got surprised also about my reactions hahaha

6th... i returned back to my chair with flying colors talaga...

7th...name was called ... i went to window 38.. i saw my pink slip.. yehey!.. a young girl inside the window told me to go the air 21 booth for my visa payment and i can go home... she gave back also my evidences like cards, chats etc... when she gave back my 2 folders of our pictures... she even read my caption " our moments of love" hahaha

7th... i went straight to the air21 booth, fill up air21 form... and paid 215 pesos for delivery... it's 10 working days

8th... i went back to the chair where my co applicants were still waiting to be called for their final interview... i said bye of course and wish them luck...

9th ...i went back to our boarding house for 15 yrs hehe...

10th... i called my fiance and tell him the good news... hep hep hurray hep hep hurray hurray !!! hahaha PASADO AKO! VISA APPROVED...
