Hi all,

My wife and I just had our first son on 6/13. My wifes I-130 (CR-1) petition is pending with USCIS. Does anyone know if we need to update our I-130 petition, section C/17 to show the birth of our new son? Our son, has USCIS citizenship, so he will not require an immigrant Visa of his own.

I would update it when the case fuile gets to the consulate.

Have you submitted the needed CRBA paperwork?

Our son was born in the US while my wife is here on a visitor Visa. So he has citizenship automatically without having to file the CRBA. Do you think that will cause any problems?

nope...

YMMV
