:jest: <-- me

Yes, I do act the clown. Why the heck not? It's fun. I am here for the entertainment value. I get a kick out of hanging with my pals on the n00bz thread, my brothers on the Thai threads.

I also post tons of serious #######, when I'm in a serious frame of mind and the thread calls for it. Anyone who sees my postings will attest to that. On the markets. On domestic US politics. On the MidEast and Israel. On abortion. Circumcision. Canada. Relationships. Internet and Technology. I am interested in a range of topics and respect many people on VJ and in my real life that have opinions different than my own. I am quite open to learning new things and having civil conversations. I tried it with you, it obviously doesn't work with you.

Examples? Here's one chosen pretty much at random. An interchange with madame Cleo a few days ago about CDS regulation. She raises some interesting points, I respond with my views and knowledge of the subject matter. I can play this game straight-up. Or I can play it clowning around. I enjoy it both ways. In your case, the only way it's fun is to treat as comic, because you are incapable of doing it any other way.

Come on now. Like Steven, you post topics and like to discuss topics with people who agree with you. Anyone who believes otherwise is basically perceived as the enemy. Hence why I find it so funny that liberal yanks want to approach those abroad and 'discuss our differences', while they absolutely refuse to accept or even acknowledge opposing views at home.

We have completely different views in life. For myself, I like to be proven wrong. I am not going to sit here and be persuaded by someone just because they think they are right and I am wrong. Or better yet once they start throwing out insults. If someone doesn't care, then why bother even entering a discussion?

No matter how ridiculous someone or something sounds, as long as they can justify their beliefs I will consider it. What I refuse to play is this liberal yank I am right and you are an idiot approach and then have the nerve to call it a discussion.

According to the Internal Revenue Service, the 400 richest American households earned a total of $US138 billion, up from $US105 billion a year earlier. That's an average of $US345 million each, on which they paid a tax rate of just 16.6 per cent.

Seems like the thread has brought about the desired response. Shall we take the repartee to PM or would you like to continue to trade insults publicly? :hehe:

Either way.

My PM box is full.

And I have a meeting starting in 10 minutes, so I'm outta here anyway to go back to my "no-life" real life.

 that's a bunch of cack and you know it. You go trolling for a reaction like the best of them - stop trying to act like you're fvcking Snow White.

I have never posted (trolled) for the sake of a reaction.

Hehehe

No, not interested today. I agree that some grafitti is definitely art, despite adorning unrequested and perhaps inappropriate places.

Refusing to use the spellchick!

I have put you on ignore. No really, I have, but you are still ruining my enjoyment of this site. .
