Hello Vjers, I hope you are all doing good.

i have posted this a little before now but I am yet to get a solution which is why i am doing this again.

The USCIS sent NOA 1 dated 26th Nov 2008 for the I130 and 3rd Dec 2008 for the I129f but I am yet to get a response from them, am I the only one in these shoes and what is probably the problem as its obvious we are beyond the expected processing timeframe does it have anything to do with the country of origin of my husband?

repeated calls to the USCIS office have been met with generic responses and I am awaiting contact formt he congressmans office..what do i do next?...should i be concerned?

Not particularly. I was approved extra fast.

Do not be concerned. It would not hurt to contact your congressman.

Yes I would get worried..... I also filed an I-130 Oct24, 2008 and I129-f Nov 17, 2008, and still no approval I have gotten my local congressman involved I think you should do the same and call the USCIS and have a service request put on your case to find out why they are taking so long....

207 days since receipt of NOA 1 and counting, still no response, congresswoman contacted, no word from her too...would the fact that i ma a naturalized US citizen also be a factor in the delay? anyone
