G325A problem/misunderstanding

Sigh, I am getting very mad at myself now...when reading through the forum on VJ today, I realized I made 2 mistakes on my G325A forms...the question about the last addrress outside United States, and the one about last occupation abroad. I somehow totally fogot and didn't realize that my past history before immigration to the United States 9 years ago count...and put "none" on both questions for my own (petitioner) G325A forms...what should I do now? Should I wait till they send me a RFE (since they probably do realize that I made a mistake as I didn't entered the US until year 2000)? Or should I amend my G325A forms and sent it to USCIS now?

I'm so frustrated and angry at myself now....how can I misunderstand such a simple question?

Any suggestion is appreciated. thanks!

hey there! That matter happens sometimes, I did my G-325A for around 4-5 times cause of checking nitty gritty mistakes and everything.

Anyway, have you or your petitioner sent the I-130 package to the USCIS already? If not, better to tell him/her or youshould not sent it yet and revised whatever you've missed in your G-325A. But if you sent it already, I would suggest if you will call the USCIS to know what you should do with that. I think it will be better to do some actions now than wait for the RFE (this is my personal opinion sweetie).

Goodluck!

I mailed in the petition already and received NOA1 as well...

I double and triple checked all forms for many many times...but somehow it doesn't occur to me that my past history before moving to the USA counts...sigh...I guess i will call tomorrow then...

Thanks for you prompt reply...

I guess I'm the only one that make this stupid mistake then....though I check and check and read through all my forms many many times before mailing it out. I somehow missed such a simple question...anyway, any VJers have experience mailing extra information to CSC before they sent RFE? I'm afraid that if I sent them a letter now explaining the situation, it would somehow got lost and misplaced....

Thanks a lot. Any support is appreciated....I'm so worried now...

  • 3 weeks later...

Just an update on this--I wrote a letter with the correct info and attached it with a copy of my NOA1 and mailed it to CSC as instructed by the lady on the phone at USCIS. Well, guess what, today I received the info back--the original letter explaining my mistake, copy of NOA1--CSC simply return the things that I mailed to them directly, and attached a letter saying should I have a question, I would need to contact them directly, or wait for RFE, they won't accept additional document in mail in regards to a petition with RFE notice......

So, well, at least it didn't get misplaced, but it didn't get match up with my petition neither...now I Just need to wait and pray that it would be okay...sigh...

Nope, you're not the only one. I left 2 questions blank on my I-130. I missed question 3 "City/State" and question 4 "Date of Birth." I did not call USCIS for the corrections. I'm hoping they fix it for me. If not, what can I do but wait for the RFE.

Wow,

I read a discussion where they did the same thing you did and it got matched up.. not returned
