My issue seems somewhat similar to this one,

http://www.visajourney.com/forums/index.ph...mp;hl=expedited

But I couldn't find anything closer.

Here's the deal. My wife's two year card expires in November. I was just informed yesterday that in late September I will have to go to an overseas duty station for 375 days (I am military). Her 90 day window is August, so if I file on the first, that gives me about a month and a half for any follow up. From what I have read, this is quite a long process.

I spoke with a representative from USCIS and he said the best way to hurry things up and not have to deal with an interview is to request expedited processing, but I would still have to wait until she is in that 90 day window before expiring.

Has anyone ever been approved for expedited processing? Does anyone have advice on what to put in the letter for the request? I would hate to return home after a solid year away and find my wife has been deported. I can't imagine USCIS would let something like that happen, but I also know they can have a tendancy to see people as numbers.

All good advice will be greatly appreciated.

File from over seas, I-751 can be filed form overseas.

If she is going to travel with you and live overseas with you you should also file.

I-131, and N-470 to preserve residency status so that your spouse can file for citizenship when the time comes.

No, she will remain in the US. There will be no facilities to be able to file from where I will be.

Then when the time comes file the I-751 before you deploy, in most cases it is approved without interviews, and if an interview does come up, mor than likely your spouse can handle it, and bring evidence that you are out of the country per government orders.
