Already have L1B Working Visa

Do I need to apply for my I765 then or is it just redundant? My L1B Visa is good for another 2.5 years, so once you get the green card you could start working already no?

To apply or not...that is my question.

One more thing...when you file the 485 it says you need 2 pictures...ok, but if ya'll think I should file the 765 as well it says it requires 2 pictures as well. So do you really need to send 4 pictures?

Green card is DHS Work Authorization - so EAD (I-765) is not needed once the PR/Green Card is in hand. Whether or not you apply for it is up to you - the fee for it is included in the I-485 filing fee.

One more thing...when you file the 485 it says you need 2 pictures...ok, but if ya'll think I should file the 765 as well it says it requires 2 pictures as well. So do you really need to send 4 pictures?

For each (I-485 and/or I-765) you submit, you must include its own evidence - such as passport photos.

Don't try to reinvent how water boils. Simply follow the instructions in the Adjustment of Status guide and forms. If they ask for something -as ridiculous as it might sound to you- yes, you HAVE to comply.
