Depends on the airlines. Different airlines have different luggage policy. SOme don't even allow you to bring water or liquids even with infant. I had 2 months old baby with me when i travelled but had no problems at all. You can bring a handcarry baggage for bb stuff with a specific baggage dimension.

2 times 50 lbs are allowed for u, ur baby girl dosent have her own seat so she cant take additional luggage.

but u have to check the airlines too, u might have to pay for the PAl airline cuz it is short trip they allowed usally long distance 2 times 50 lbs. where are u booking??

They won't charge you if you don't have excess baggage from what is allowed.. i had 2 carry on baggage with me with baby on lap. Better check ur airlines and call them if you can.

Also does your baby don't have a ticket (coz you said he will be on ur lap). You better be sure that you paid for your baby's tax.

I did not have to purchase a ticket for my 2 months old but i paid over$200 for his tax.I did'nt know it till i was at the airport otherwise they won't allow my baby to fly with me.

the baby will get an e ticket, which u have to get at the airport. and if the baby is in lap u cant take additional luugage. allowed are for one person 2 times 50 lbs bags.

that right the baby has to pay taxes and u book for the baby too, they will ask at the airline website child in lap/ seat. and they will ask for the age of the baby.

good luck

If baby is flying in your lap you can not bring the additional luggage, if baby is flying in a paid seat then you can bring the additional luggage.

It depends coz i have the baby in my lap and i have 2 carry on baggage with me.

With baby in your lap, you didn't pay for baby to have a seat so baby can't bring checked-in bags. Each "paying" customer gets to bring 2 checked-in pieces of 50 pounds each. I don't think the OP is asking about carry-on bags.

Normally you can take one carry on and one personal item... I travel internationally all of the time,, I always take a 22" rollerboard and a laptop backpack. Never a problem. Double check the airlline for checked allowance, You pay normally only pay excess baggage when you check in for the first flight.
