Green card was sent with name misspelled

I am asking this question for a family member who recently was sponsored by my mother for a visa. The greencard was sent by the NVC with the name misspelled. The incorrect greencard was sent back to the following address to be corrected:

Immigration and Naturalization Service

Texas Service Center

PO Box 851488

Mesquite, TX 75185

The original greencard was sent back in February and I still have not heard back from them. Does anyone know how long it usually takes to receive back the new green card?

I have been looking around for a email address to check the status of the green card, however was unable to locate one. Is there an email address I can use to check the green card status?

When my husband received his 10yr GC, it had the wrong country of birth on it. We sent it back in Jan and he received the corrected one in April.

So yours took about 3 months, for him its already been 4 months and still nothing. Does anyone know how I can get in contact with someone over there? Preferlaby an email address.
