My Chinese girlfriend has been living in Europe for over 3 years now and is ready to come to the U.S. to live with me since I still haven't been able to find work there. Is the visa process the same though she lives in Europe without EU citizenship? Also, which of the documents must be official as opposed to copies? I was told that not all documents must be copies but I don't know which ones. Thanks for any help!

Thanks for your response! Up until now, she has been there illegally like many Chinese but she should have her residency in a few months. That's one of the things we are waiting for but i don't know if that will help me get into the EU if we are not married. Perhaps once she has residency there, we can get married there but i doubt that will open up any job opportunities for me there. Thanks again.
