It was a general attack, and not an personal one. If you feel that you fall within the group of people that I've directed that at, then by all means, continue your indignation.

I don't know you, and certainly don't agree with most of your views politically. But you do at least put some thought into them as opposed to some people. My comment was directed at them. The ones who put no thought into their posts and just regurgitate partisan commentary that they've heard on various blogs or news outlets.

I've always found Lou Dobbs to be the biggest blowhard when it comes to beating his own chest and attesting to his own credibility and awesomeness.

Actually, I have listened to his show. It wasn't that entertaining. I prefer Coast-to-Coast AM.

Savage may be an egotistical blowhard, but it's HIS radio show. He gets paid for national airtime, in which people listen and call in. Of course he'll be full of himself.

As I said before, he's like any other successful celebrity. In fact... forget the "celebrity" part -- anyone who's been largely successful eventually gains something of an ego. Maybe not one as huge as those in Hollywood (or Savage himself), but humility is rare no matter where you go.
