Do I need to bring the copy of all the papers we sent to the NVC on my interview at the embassy? particularly the affidavit of support, tax transcripts and the notices of action? My husband sent me a package of all the documents we sent to the USCIS & NVC including the personal letters i sent to him for additional proofs of relationship but unfortunately I haven't receive it yet until now. He sent it to me ahead of time and we were confident that i'm gonna get it this time but i keep waiting and nothing arrive yet. I am leaving to Manila on June 9th which is a 2hr flight from my city to get my medical exam and will stay there until my interview on the 18th. So i wonder if it's ok not to bring a copy of affidavit of support, tax transcripts & paystubs from him since the NVC got all those already and if i am not mistaken the NVC will send it to the embassy too, right? This is really bothering me right now. I know i still have time left but in case i won't get it on time at least i know what im gonna do. Any advice please? Thanks a lot!

Our time line for CR1 visa took only 5 months and 1 week or 156 days; from the filing the I-130 on the 03-12-2009 to Approval of NOA2 on the 05/13/2009, then Interview on the 08/18/2009 at Manila, Philippines. We had a daughter on the 11-12-2010 named AISHA JOY means HAPPY LIFE.a1_opt-1.jpga2_opt-1.jpga3_opt-1.jpg

I wouldn't count on the NVC sending anything to Manila. The prescreener at your interview will ask you for the Affidavit of Support, ITR's, W2's and everything else I know your husband already sent to the Nvc but they ask for it and I would want to be prepared to give it to them. Good luck on your interview.

At ANY interview I have always taken a copy of ANYTHING I have sent to USCIS or consulate. Do not risk needing it and not having it. Why? You can take it all back with you when you leave
