Hi everybody. I'm a student on F1 visa. My husband became a citizen 2 weeks ago. We sent all papers 2 days ago. Unfortunately the copy of his certificate of citizenship wasn't signed. I don't know what to do. Should I resend them just this copy or wait for a response?? Please, advice something??I don't want to have this process extended because of my mistake / oversight. Thank to everybody who will help!!

Wait for them to request a signed copy. If you send it now it will never make it to your case file. You need the RFE letter to send anything to them it has the special barcode that makes sure it gets to the person dealing with your case.

I Agree with Tayrivers! Wait for an RFE. Also, you may not even get an RFE and they might accept it as it as or ignore it. I never sent my wife's Certificate copy and they never questioned it. Copies of Passport were attached, so i guess they just wanted documentary proof.

You have 2 options. 1. Wait for RFE then send, or 2. Send in the document signed and write the case # in the upper right hand corner. Best wishes
