I always see the word "touched" in the timeline. What is "touched."

Last updated date on the USCIS website.

When that date changes, your file has been "touched" by someone. However, when I called the customer service line a couple of weeks ago, the lady did tell me that your file's initial processing isn't done by an adjudicator, so the last updated by date wouldn't change.

November 19, 2007 - Met

November 25, 2008 - Engaged

November 25, 2009 - Married

November 24, 2011 - Baby due!

You guys are great. My petition was recieved 03-06 and I was touched 03-10 but have no had any activity since. I hope that doesn't mean that I will wait longer than the average.
