I am the beneficiary and I tried calling the USEM using my IDD Calling card and mobile phone but it cant connect.. I want to try calling the USEM and ask about my interview on June 16, 2009...

To my fellow Filipinos, can you give me the best time to call them and what number should i dial?

i also tried to call them early this week using my cellphone and IDD calling card but it didnt work. i used our pldt landline at home which (unfortunately) doesnt have IDD but i opted for 108 operator calling and asked to be connected to 1 909 101 7878. a little after 8am is the best time to call. im sure you'll get thru this time. to save on minutes, press 2 on recorded instruction, then 1 to be connected to the call agent.

You can try calling the above number at 7:30 AM when they open. Sometimes Grace or ?(forgot her name) will entertain beneficiaries, but often you will be told the number is for US Citizens.
