I have just received I-751 Notice of Action – extending status for 1 year. I would like to go for vacation in Europe and was wondering can I go and get I-551 stamp using Infopass?

As I am transferring flights on the way back to US – I am afraid that foreign custom officers might not let me on the flight once they see expired conditional green card. I do not think that they care about extension letter.

It depends on where you go. I got mine in Atlanta with no problem, some other places will give you a hard time though since you have a NOA.

I agree with cocoplum. NOA and I-551 2 different forms of same thing. I tried my luck but nothing happen.

Hopefully it will work out for you, coz you will be asking IO I already have boiled eggs, can you please give me scrambled egss as well.

Not a great example, but was trying to make a point.

My husband was able to get his I-551 stamp with no problem at all at the Jacksonville infopass office even though he does have his NOA as well. They did take his expired greencard.
