I noticed that USCIS updated their site to show they are now procesing apps as of March 31, 2009 and, K1 still states 6 months..Does that mean those that are processed as of March 31 will take 6 months ? or, is the 6 months from the dates NA01 recieved..

also, when an app is "touched" will it actually state on the website I registered for w/ reciept # ? and, does it state why or, what they did with it ?

Date I 129F Sent - April 28

NA01 from VSC May 1 (Na01 letter actually recieved May 7th)

APPROVED, NOTHING COMPLICATE!!!!! GOOD LUCK.

March 31, 2009 as posted on the USCIS site is referring to the last time the website was updated, this has nothing to do with the k1 specifically. 6 months is still their bottom line, that applies to the date of your NOA1.

When you log into the USCIS website and view your files it will say update : "some date". If that date changes that means your case was touched. If something important was done then when you click on your reciept number the description of the last action on your account will have changed, if it was merely a touch it will not have changed.
