driving across POE-vehicle question

I was wondering,

I am going to be crossing at the Pigeon River POE by Thunder Bay, Ont when my visa is approved

I am wondering what I need for my vehicle in order to register at the POE and when I get to Colorado so I can get plates, and put it under my fiance's insurance.

The thing is too, my vehicle was bought and registered in the USA then imported to Canada by the owner , whom I bought it from in Canada.

Any idea what paper work is required for an american vehicle to be brought back into the states??

No idea, but I doubt there is anything related to this issue at POE

My vehicle was originally bought / registered in Canada, then somehow brought to the USA, where I bought it... did I do anything special when buying and registering it? NO!

You might want to ask this question over in the Canada Forum. There are a number of Canadians who have imported their vehicles to the US and can tell you the process. Whether any of them have been in the exact situation you describe, I don't know but maybe some one has. Regardless, they have a wealth of information that will answer most if not all of your questions about importing your car.
