interview schedule before EAD?

Hi!

I've looked at some timelines and it seems like people received an interview schedule before they got the EAD and after the biometrics.

I had biometrics,I got EAD and I am waiting for the intreview schedule.

Is it anything wrong with this order?

my friend got her EAD first and she didn't go through an interview (she's a K1) she just got her CGC after a couple of months.

At least you have a valid identification now.

It depends on where your case is being processed. Look at the timelines at the top and compare your case to others going through your local office.

No.

We had our interview and received AOS approval before we got the EAD, then the EAD came just a couple days before the Green Card. It is not unusual for people filing all at once to receive the green card first. It is not unusual to get the EAD first.

No.

We had our interview and received AOS approval before we got the EAD, then the EAD came just a couple days before the Green Card. It is not unusual for people filing all at once to receive the green card first. It is not unusual to get the EAD first.
