I was wondering what the best way to correct an error on my DS-230 is.

In the midst of my 24/7 morning sickness and exhaustion, I didn't make a blank copy of the form, I just went ahead and filled it out. The front page is fine, but on the reverse,...

I entered an address that I was at for only 3.5 months overseas, in the section where it says 6 months or more (missed that in my stupor), so I drew a line through it and worte, 3.5 months only..... but my lawyer said to use white out instead, so there can be no misunderstanding, and have them request a police certificate.... does white out sound right?

Also, I messed up on trips to the US, I forgot to enter in a trip on the front page, so wrote, see attached sheet for more US visits...will this be ok???

I am a nervous wreak and can use all the good advice I can get.

Thanks

Can't you just download the form and fill it out again?

State.gov 230

I wasn't sure if I could, as the form they sent me differs a bit, as they only sent me one the one page and there is no part 2 attached and the numbers that the bottom vary a tad. (ie. no page numbers and the expiry date is diff)

The link is the most current form in use - and both parts (I and II) are in one file.

This form doesn't expire till 02/29/2012.

Download it and fill it out, then compare it with what you have.
