I have my outside Canada passport renewal all complete, minus the picture portion.

It claims I need a "commercial photographer" to take the pictures. Does this mean I can not use Costco or a USPS office? What constitutes a Commercial Photog?

You should be fine going to one of those places. People try to take the pictures themselves so it stays commercial.

AAA does good photos. I just dropped off my passport renewal at the Hamilton office yesterday. Got my pics done at the local CAA. I'll pick the new passport up on Wednesday before I fly back on Friday. Easy peasey.

Oh right. I forget that message boards aren't intuitive. My first sentence was to Brad. The rest of what I said was for entertainment purposes only. LOL

Quite a lot of US passport photo shops can't/won't do Canadian size passport photos, but Sears Portraits can and should know the standards. I just had mine done there a few weeks ago with no problem at all. Everyone else around here looked at me like I was an alien when I asked if they could do Canadian passport photos. ;)

divorced - April 2010 moved back to Ontario May 2010 and surrendered green card
