Can anyone give any good recommendations on which office does immigration (Van Phong dich vu) help to prepare out documents and prepare my wife for the interview that's coming up. I didn't plan on using one of those services but since they gave me short notice, since my expedite request was granted for medical emergency, that my interview is coming up I would like to get as much help as I can. If you used one can you give me a name, address and maybe phone number if you have it. I appreciate all your help.

Also, my appointment letter has not come in the mail yet and I want my wife to get the medical examination done as soon as possible, is it possible to get the medical examination with out the appointment letter?

Don't you have an email from NVC that sent you an appointment letter in PDF to both petitioner and beneficiary? Now NVC goes for green. No mail send to beneficiary. Your spouse can print out for medical exam and bring it to interview day too.

Good luck. Get Pink!

Dai,

I did recommended to you anh Thanh @ Nguyen Kim. Last time I came back for him but he is not good as much as before. He is alsmost out of business less customer and did not do the job like before. Now I don't recommend you to go to him. The lady sits next to him now has more customers than him. If you have any better "Dich Vu" try it.

Best luck to your spouse. PINK! PINK! PINK!

God Bless,

What papers are you trying to have done? We're working on the police records right now. Plus we need a Household Registration Book translated.

You live in HCMC, right? So are we going through the same process? Or are you not a temporary resident in Vietnam?

I am a temporary resident here in Vietnam but I took the long way. I started out in June of last year so it's been a while. I'm actually preparing paperwork for my wife's interview at the end of the month. I finished all the NVC police record I-864 and DS-230 stuff. I just need help organizing things in such short notice since they just told me yesterday that our interview is at the end of this month. The service I was looking for was for someone to let my wife know what to expect and how to arrange our documents for our interview and tell my wife how to interview.

Thanks Everyone for you suggestions. My wife decided to go to the 147 Nguyen Kim place because her friend recommended it also. We talked to Ngan, the woman sitting next to Mr. Thanh, and she was really nice and handled my wife really well in making her feel comfortable about the upcoming interview. When my wife 1st step in there she heard Mr. Thanh speak and dealing with customers in a loud voice with his slick back hair appearence and aggressive talking he intimidate my wife too much so she went for ms. Ngan.

Sorry to hear you had to go the long way, but it's great that the interview is only in a few weeks. Please let me know if the service is worth the money. I only found out today about my USCIS approval and that the NVC doesn't even get involved. So I'm now waiting to hear about an interview, and trying to get the I-864 filled out. I think my wife could use some help as well for the interview. But don't we get to be there?

Nope the petitioner can not the attend the interview with the beneficiary. Here is where it states it:

http://hochiminh.usconsulate.gov/faq3.html

I am a petitioner. May I attend the visa interview with my relative?

As is standard practice around the world, we do not permit the petitioner to attend the immigrant visa interview. Our officers are trained to conduct interviews in Vietnamese. If the applicant is still unable to understand the questions posed to them, we will provide a local employee who will translate for the applicant.

It will also state it in the packet IV whenever they send out the interview appointment letter.
