AOS how much longer?

Hi all!Hope somebody has gone trough similar situation or at least have an idea about why it takes so long??Here's my short version of the story.I came here July 2002 with J1,applied for F1 visa October 2002 ,got the F1 visa in feb 2003 with "DS" mention ,went to college for 2.5 years ,overstayed till i got married. I married my wife july 2006 ,started to submit the paperwork in august 2008.Sent all the documents I130,I485,I765,I131 and the notice date for everything was Sep 17 2008,and that my case was at NBC .I got my EAD and AP in december 2008 and i had my interview Feb 10 2009 at local office in St.Louis.The IO didn't ask not even one single questions about our marriage besides the verification questions like dob and date we got married etc .He just asked questions about my traffic violations.Anyway it's May 11 same year still no reply from anybody,my I 130 and I485 are still pending .The question i guess is how much longer?I heard of ppl getting approved on the spot or even receiving something in 2-3 weeks after interview .Another question is why wasn't my I130 approved at least? . So any inputs would be welcomed .Thank u
