Thanks all...sorry for the delay in writing back...My wife got her GC approved and her card as well a couple of days back...Best of luck to everyone...Take care.

Out interview experience:

On the day of the interview we carried some pictures as well as joint bank statements and credit cards. I had also added her to my medical insurance at work, so carried a copy of it. That's all. The rest of the docs we had were from K1.

When we went there, they made us go thro' security and directed us to go to the designated waiting area. We waited there for about 45 minutes, when a pleasant looking immigration officer came and greeted us. She asked us some basic questions regarding our DOBs as well as where my wife lived and the phone number. That's all...Then she said that we have been approved...and we should expect the card in 3 weeks...Got it in second week itself. Thanks.

9/22 - Mail reached USCIS - CSC

9/23 - Check Cashed

9/23 - NOA1 Notice Date (now wait and pray that NOA2 should come soon!!)

9/27 - NOA1 received by mail

9/29 - Touched (probably to correct typos)

9/30 - Touched

1/14/2009 - NOA2 approved

1/20 - NOA2 hard copy received

1/22 - NVC received petition

1/26 - NVC sent petition to Embassy

1/29 - Received NVC Hard copy

1/30 - Embassy received petition

2/3 - Received P3 from Embassy

2/3 - P3 sent by Courier from India

2/10 - Confirmed that P3 is in embassy's system (called embassy, DOS)

2/23 - Called DOS - Got interview date verbally

3/9 - Medicals Completed

3/31 - Interview Successful

4/3 - Received Visa

4/20 - Arrival

Congratulations !!!! Way to go, dude. Happy for you both. As for me, we just have our EAD/AP docs. No word on the GC front. Case was transferred to CSC in early July. Never really got a note about it, just an update on the USCIS site. Been almost 3 mos since the CSC transfer. Wonder what is going on ?

Karri/Sam - have you guys heard anything from USCIS or CSC? Did you get a note in the mail about the transfer by the way ?

Timeline for K1 visa

9/11/2008 – mailed I-129F

9/12/2008 – Received at VSC/NOA 1 sent (mail stamp-9/16)

9/15/2008 – check cashed

9/19/2008 –Received NOA1

12/28/2008 – Received NOA2 Approval email from CRIS

01/06/2009 – Left NVC for Mumbai Consulate

01/07/2009 – Received NVC confirmation letter in the mail

01/08/2009 – Mumbai Consulate received file electronically and sent packet 3 (info from DOS)

01/10/2009 – Mumbai Consulate received file (hard copy) from NVC (DHL tracking)

01/19/2009 – Overnighted packet 3 (still did not receive receive pkt 3 from Mumbai)

01/20/2009 – Packet 3 arrives at Mumbai Consulate

01/23/2009 – called DOS and was informed that packet 4 has been sent and interview date set.

01/24/2009 – Received hard copy of packet 3 (postmark Jan 20). Too late. Already sent packet 3 on Jan 19.

02/02/09 – Received Packet 4

02/04/09 – Submitted documents at the VFS Kolkata Office

02/06/09 - Medicals completed

03/02/2009 – BIG DAY, i.e., Interview Date

03/03/2009 - Visa received in mail

04/09/2009 - POE

AOS

04/17/2009 - CIVIL

6/16/2009 - Mailed AOS package

6/19/2009 - NOA1

7/08/2009 - AOS transferred to CSC

7/17/2009 - Biometrics appointment, EAD case Touched

8/05/2009 - EAD card production ordered, AP approved !!!!

ROC

08/27/2011 - Mailed ROC packageCIVIL

08/29/2011 - NOA1

09/19/2011 - Early Bio (scheduled date 10/03/2011)

Nope still waiting. Our case was transferred before our biometrics. Last update was 8/12, waiting waiting waiting! All of the July people who didn't get transferred are having their interviews and getting their GC's, everybody that got transferred nothing yet! =(

So what's the news guys , did any one got any news on GC . My GC was trasfered to CSC in July . Since then they have touched it like 10 times but nothing updated on the USCIS site .

I am thinking of calling them .

Hi guys, I will be taking AOS route pretty soon. Can you guys tell me what kind of form is needed and what kind of evidence is needed?

My fiance lost his vacination card and i don't know what to tell the civil surgeon. Do you guys think he will make my fiance take all those shots all over AGAIN? :help:
