My husband came to US in a K3 visa last week. He had his medical exam done in india itself. He had his x-ray and blood tests done there but not the vaccinations. What do I need to do now? Also, do I need to fill out I-693 and send it with my I-485? Please help. Thanks.

A few things.

You may need to get any immigrations vaccinations done or tested for, for your age group, and then you WILL need to get them transfered to an I-693.

Second.

Many on K-3 delay filing AOS until they are close to 2 years of marriage, if the AOS is approved AFTER 2 years of marriage the resulting green-card will be a 10 year un-conditional one. What some do is appy for EAD before AOS and pay the fee for EAD, this is less than the cost to remove conditions on a 2 year green-card, and saves from having to file a pile of paperwork when removing conditions.

Keep in mind that he does not need a new medical exam if it was done in India in the last 12 months. The only thing he would need would be to get his vaccines done or retested as YuAndDan said and noted on the I-693. Call the authorized civil surgeons in your area to find out how much it will be.

Has anyone done the vaccination recently? I called a doctor and he is saying the charge is 125 dollars. My husband already has DS 3025. I am confused.
Look at DS-3025, if shows having:

Varacella, Tetanus, and MMR (Mumps, Measles, Rubella) done, then simply take the DS-3025 to a US civil surgeon for transfer to I-693.

Bring an I-693 and it's directions along point out the directions explaining that K-Visa only need vaccinations record done NOT a full medical.

Most doctors will do this for $30 - $50 if not then Please read the PINNED post at the top of this forum, it explains how to deal with this.
