for an entire passport renewal? Cause that's what we have to do now sadly no such thing as an ez name change 'no mo'

What kind of name change? If it's to change your current passport to your married name then you have to reapply.... they don't do addendums anymore. It also depends on where you're filing from. Are you in Canada or in the US? Or in another country entirely? You need to provide more info.

Or you can just book your plane tickets in your maiden name until your passport expires.

I see you posted in Flames' passport thread so you have read that he received his in 17 days. Others have waited up to a couple of months. No offense, but is it possible for you to type in complete sentences? It's quite difficult to understand what you are asking based on a couple of random words.
