Ignorant attitudes like the ones in this thread really worry me... not just for my sister and her wife and their daughter, but for the children of homophobes. Can you imagine being the gay child of one of these people??

It is no wonder that rate of suicide attempts among LGBT teens with "rejecting" parents are WAY higher than hetero teens.

So sad. Why do so many people who say they follow Christ have such trouble being kind and respectful of others?

But then they turn around and condemn birth control for teens and sex-ed in schools. Maybe with a little prevention of unwanted pregnancies we'd have less need for abortions? Pitbulls (and some other breeds) were bred to have a natural tendency towards violence. That doesn't mean a Pitbull is necessarily going to be violent. A lot of that has to do with training and environment.

A good book for dog owners and wouldbe dog owners to read is How to Speak Dog. It seems a lot of people misunderstand dogs and their actions and body language. We put a "human spin" on what they do.

Statistically speaking they are not anymore dangerous than other breeds. If mistreated any dog can be dangerous.

I am of the second persuasion sister jundp. I do not consider a fetus a human being, and I am indeed pro-choise. A death row immate is a human being, and capital punishment is state sanctioned murder.

They count if you're unable to separate fantasy from reality. Characters in video-games are not "people" after all, however realistic they look they exist inside a television screen and are, as a result, indistinguishable from a paper target at a firing range.
