More anti-Muslim/Islam propaganda just to make sure that we don't forget about "the war on terror" and the clash of civilizations. Great.

This protest is probably not that new. And just out of interest why would people in Kashmir want to celebrate Valentine's Day? First of all, it's a Christian holiday (of course based on some Roman celebration), and second of all, in it's commercialized present form it originates in the US. Even Europeans have only recently begun to celebrate it, and I don't know anyone in Germany who does.(History)

To even consider these protests a threat to Western values is similar being upset at Jews refusing to celebrate Christmas and to argue that they celebrate Chanukah in protest. Being upset at the protests against the cartoons is one thing; putting all other protests by (radical) Muslims on the same stage is quite another. There is nothing wrong with defending one's cultural roots and traditions, as long as it is done peacefully.

Possibly. But I find it disturbing that any little protest in the Muslim world is now sold as another piece of evidence in the "war on terror"-narrative. It's all part of a big puzzle...
