Case Completed: Happy But Not So Happy

Finally our case in NVC is completed as of May 1, 2009. Praise God! I want to congratulate my husband for a job well done after he finished assembling all the necessary papers to complete the petition process. I know its pain in the @$$ to arrange those papers and stuff but he did it after i yelled @ him bwehehehe. I love you baby! Now its my turn to assemble the stuff i needed for my upcoming interview. Anyway we're happy about the good news but at the same time we're worried that my interview schedule might fall sometime in June or early July. I am still on my chemotherapy and expecting to be done by the last week of June. I want to be fully recovered from my therapy before I'll have my medical exam. You know how the chemo drugs affects my whole immune system and blood counts etc that makes it hard to travel to Manila for the medical and interview. As much as we want to be together soon, we need to slow down a lil bit in order to keep up with all the things going on especially my health and the visa process.

I know this is just the beginning of another and final phase of this whole process. I pray that God will continue to guide us and help us get through all the obstacles in life. I pray for those who are still waiting @ the USCIS and NVC that they will hear their good news soon. Keep up the prayers! God bless us all!
