Hello Brettanne. Naku makakarelate ako sa pagpapangalan ng baby. Kasi may pangalan na kami even though we don't know yet if it's a girl or a boy but we are having a baby girl.

Good Luck sayo..

Thanks frostysoftyeaton

May tanung pala ako sa lahat. Nasa 7th month of my pregnancy na isa isa ng nagsisilabasan yung mga sakit sa katawan :help: :help: :help: . Isa na dito yung walang katapusang back pain..Nakakaloka, lalo na kapag nakahiga ako at angswitch to a different postiton, anak ng pating ang sakit, parang bang mababali yung likod ko..Hay..Buhay buntis..Tsaka yung ihi ng ihi..Oh my kulang nalang sa banyo ako magstay pra hindi na ako pabalik balik..lol..Di pa nmn ako nahihirapang bumangon kasi nmn hindi talaga ganun kalakihan yung tiyan ko,,super liit, nakakatulog pa nga akong nakadapa at mas komportable pa ako kesa sa nakatihaya..ang weird..   .

:help: :help: :help: :help: :help:

Kapag matagal akong nakatayo dun sumasakit so ang ginagawa ko eh i lay on my side and i feel better. I even try drinking warm milk o kumain ng saging bago matulog pero hirap parin ako. You better ask your OB about it.

Yung due date natin eh estimated lang talaga. Me nanga2nak ng mas maaga o late sa due date. Due date ko is March 25 I'm praying and talking to my baby na lumabas nalang sya sa bday ng daddy nya which is on the 26th. God Bless!

Most probably lalaki pa baby mo. Kelan due date mo? Sorry di ako naka-pag back read, tinatamad :)

Will surely pray for you and the baby.

Marjo - Good luck sa ultrasound! That's exciting. I also understand your fears. Ganon din ako non :) Everything will be good!

Evelyn - Ang laki na ni Jacob! :) At may teddy bear pa :) Kino-combine mo ba breastfeeding at formula?

Hi Riza,

sinabi mo pa....ang laki talaga ni baby, nung pinanganak ako I was not even 7lbs, tapos si hubby was 8.10lbs so bka mana sa kanya...sana naman wag na sya lumaki..due date ko is bukas pero parang di pa lalabas si baby so by friday baka ma induce na ako..hopefully kaya ko syang i-ere...ayaw ko tlga pa CS sana pero kung wlang ibang choice then CS bgsak ko nito.

Gracey,

is this ur second child?

bmtrrbt,

wow, mommy sheree!! manganganak kana pala. I am so excited and a little bit nervous for u. I just been in your c-section 3 weeks ago and im getting better. hope everythin will be fine. I will pray for you mommy sheree!!

With regards to your due date, a rough estimate would be to subtract 3 months from the day of your last menstrual period then add seven days. That would be a rough estimate of your due date, plus and minus two weeks

I am nearing my 34th week and my back pains have gotten worse; so much so that i really cannot avoid taking some acetaminophen for it. I find it hard to stay sitting for a long time or standing for a long time. Even sitting on the toilet...i need to sit straight with legs splayed...lol. Bathing becomes a chore when it comes to soaping my legs and feet; heck, i can't even reach my toenails to trim them. Getting tired easily, having some difficulty sleeping. Sleep isn't interrupted by having to go the bathroom (I lessen liquids after supper), but rather because I need to turn sides and my back pain acts up when i do. Then the Braxton-Hicks that alarm me when they come within 5 mins of each other, only to stop after getting me on alert for an hour. Hubby tells me I only have about 5 weeks more to wait and bear all these. Thing is, baby is still growing and the symptoms i feel now will intensify till she is born. But, such is motherhood. Hopefully our kids will appreciate what we go thru to bring them into this world :innocent:

bmtrrbt - ilang weeks ka na ba? have you packed your bags yet?

sheree - naku, unahan ka pa ni bmtrrbt... :D 8.9 lbs by ultrasound is quite big...and the ultrasound is pretty accurate kaya pag-isipan nyong maige and possible CS. Then again, there have been babies this size and bigger born naturally. Within the week dapat manganak ka na. The longer the baby stays in, the more risk there is (baby may poop inside and inhale it, amniotic fluid may not be adequate anymore). Hopefully, you deliver na :innocent:

im 36 weeks na ngayon...yup nag pack na ako for the baby last week kasi baka mapaanak ako bigla then di naman alam ng hubby ko anong dadalhin kaya nag pack na ako. pero for me not yet kasi di ko pa feel mag pack for me.

Congratulations bmtrrbt....i hope u wont mind me asking why your doctor s inducing you early? I mean I know you will be full term already, akala ko kasi they only induce kung malaki/overdue si baby or the placenta is not healthy to keep the baby.

wag mo muna ako icongratulate uy kasi di pa naman ako nanganganak...hehehehehe

i asked my ob about it one time but i didnt really get an exact answer... sa naalala ko mas maalagaan kung nasa labas ang baby kaysa nasa loob.

maliit din kasi ako then yung fundal height ko maliit din...5 weeks ago i had my ultrasound my baby weigh 3 pounds something so next week another ultrasound ulit ako...but im not worried about everything kasi my baby is normal naman then kung iinduce man agad ako mas okay din yun para makita ko na sya.

hello bmtrrt, ano nga pala pangalan mo. mag katextmate pa tayo sa pinas diba? you are from davao? and im from cdo

Oo nga pala nanganak din ako on my 36 weeks but that time na break na yung water ko while waiting for my prenatal check up. I had c-section. maliit din ako gurl kaya nga i had an early contraction and been diated for 4 cm on my 36 weeks. Sabi ng OB ko nag oopen daw yung cervix ko kasi nga maliit ako so while the baby is gaining weight palapit ng palapit yung contraction. Good Luck sayo and God Bless you and your baby.

Hello doc gracey, thank you sa response. Minsan nalilito din akong e compute kasi I had my last menstruation around last week of March, then I missed April, tapos mga around First week of May spotting lang, nagtaka nga ako kasi 2 days lang yun or less. I was also experiencing menstrual cramps the following month (June).

Mommy Van :P

hello sa lahat,

rr name ko...yup textmate nga tayo before hehehehe...im 36 weeks na pero 1cm pa naman ako...ilang pounds ba baby mo? in my case my baby is growing slow pero normal lahat about sa baby thats why next week sa ultrasound ko pag maliit pa rin ang baby il deliver it early...but im not worried about it kasi i know my baby will be okay mas okay nga yun lumabas ng maaga hehehehe...

this morning i saw in deliver me show same like my case she also had a small baby but normal...at 36 weeks her baby was only 4 pounds something but she wasnt a small girl typical size na kana so they decided to deliver the baby thru cs but i didnt know why cs sya kasi dumating na hubby ko galing work kaya di ako masyadong nakaconcentrate sa panonood...but before sya nag cs they test her baby's lung maturity thru Amniocentesis so after nun her baby lungs is mature enough so nag undergo na sya for cs...and the baby came out fine pero they sent it to nicu for some check up. its better kasi kung i mouth fed ang baby kung mahina ang paglaki sa loob kasi it can cause some risk to your baby kung nasa loob till the due date.

about sa laging pag ihi...i just need to pee pag lumalabas kami ng hubby ko kasi nagbabaon talaga ako ng tubig so saan man kami pumunta kailangan kung mag shishi. pero at night i like drinking cold water and eating ice so ang ginagawa ko before ako matulog i stayed like 15 to 20 minutes sa toilet para ishishi lang ang kahit kunting pee hanggang sa maubos para when matutulog na ako straight ang tulog ko. like ms gracey i sit up straight din kasi sumasakit din likod ko sa kakapush ng kunting pee...

and what funny is, dahil sa kakapanood ko ng mga preggy show...everytime i poo i always make sure na poo ang lumabas kasi baka baby na. hehehehe

God bless sa lahat.

I'm not the pregnant mommy, but the daddy, and technically I cant post here. But my wife wont, and I dont know where else to turn.

My wife has been here from the Philippines since May 3. She has her permanant resident card now, and social security card and drivers license, and she is working at a part time job. She is 16 days pregnant as of today.

I lost my job one week ago. We have no insurance. I went to the health department and to social services here in my town, trying to get assistance. We live in a very small town in rural southwest Virginia. I learned that my wife is not elligible for medicaid until she has been here for 5 years. She is entitled to emergency medicaid only, which only covers labor, delivery and about 96 hours after delivery.

Right after we got married, she became pregnant, and had a miscarriage, February 2008. So I am concerned and want her to have prenatal care. But we just dont have the money for it. I dont know where to turn for help for her. It isnt a good time for her to be pregnant, and it was a surprise and a shock for both of us, but I am also happy she is pregnant. She is depressed, afraid, because of me not having a job. Prenatal care of some kind would help her fears significantly I think. I am doing all I can to find a new job now. She is working all the hours she can too.

Anyways... I just am hoping someone will know first hand where to turn for some kind of prenatal help... some way that it can be made affordable. Thanks.

I have been here since April of this year and have had no problems when it came to my permanent resident status. Is there a Department of Job and Family services there? If so, both of you should be eligible for medicaid (especially if she is now a green card holder with a SSN). She should also be eligible for the Women, Infants and Children program which would later on provide some support for both herself and your baby.

Hope this helps.

Thanks.

We have had no problem with Permanent Resident Card, and we found out about WIC yesterday. But that gives no help for prenatal exams. As far as Medicaid is concerned, what they told us at Social Services, after I already found the same info online, a permanent resident even if pregnant in Virginia is not eligible for medicaid until after 5 years here. Social Services said they had no suggestion where to go for help. They told us that my wife does not even qualify for food stamps, only me. They said she only will qualify for Emergency Mdedicaid once she goes into labor and 96 hours after. At that point only the infant will get medicaid, since he/she will be a US Citizen.
