Still no biometrics letter

Our check was cashed on April 1st, and got the NOA on April 4th. We have not received the biometrics letter. How long does it take to receive the bio letter after the NOA is received? Do you think I should call and check on it?

I am also waiting. I received the NOA1 on March 20th but still no biometrics. I would advise you call the information line and get them to send a service request, at least then you have some proof that they know you didn't receive the notice.

Hi Meriem_setif,

It can take from 1 week to a month for biometric letter to arrive after the arrival of your NOA. But normally it's like 2 weeks or so. If you don't get anything 45 days after your received your NOA, make an infopass and got to local USCIS office, they will do the biometric there or will inquire why you haven't received it yet.

please call 11800.........same thing happen to me.after two month i got my biometric letter.

Ok, so I called USCIS and talked with a very nice guy that transferred me to an officer. She said that she did not see where an appointment letter for Biometrics had been sent yet, but since it had been 30 days she would go ahead and put in a service request. I feel better now, because I was so afraid we would miss the appointment if the letter had been lost in the mail.
