Interesting about the receipt info! Wonder why it is different for ROC? Could it be that the numbers the same (on the NOA and bio letter) but they just don't have things online until your bio is entered?

Then, of course, you have people like flutter who have trouble getting ANYthing to work online. Obviously it is not an exact science...!

Par for the USCIS course, online access is schizophrenic, inaccurate and unreliable when allegedly working anyway!

Good to see that biometrics are beginning to trickle in, at least for VSC May filers, hopefully the guy in the mail room with the massive Quaalude problem finally accidentally got going on the CSC biometric letters.

For biometrics, it's stated in the NOA that you have to use your biometrics letter number to track online status. For most people, their biometrics letter number works a few days after taken biometrics appointment. For mine, it works right away even before the biometrics appt, I guess I'm the lucky one, but it never changes anyways, I got the approval letter but online status still says case pending. For some, online status never worked even after the biometrics is taken. So it's kind of hit and miss with it working after biometrics is the norm.

OK, I now have a biometrics appointment - it's on July 7th, and I'll update the list in a second. I'm more than slightly surprised that I can pull up my case status online - this is what it says:

Receipt Number: WACXXXXXXXXXX

Application Type: CRI89, PETITION TO REMOVE CONDITIONS OF PERMANENT RESIDENT STATUS RECEIVED

Current Status: Case received and pending.

On May 29, 2009, we received this CRI89 PETITION TO REMOVE CONDITIONS OF PERMANENT RESIDENT STATUS RECEIVED, and mailed you a notice describing how we will process your case. Please follow any instructions on this notice. We will notify you by mail when we make a decision or if we need something from you. If you move while this case is pending, call customer service. We process cases in the order we receive them. You can use our processing dates to estimate when yours will be done. This case is at our CALIFORNIA SERVICE CENTER location. Follow the link below to check processing dates. You can also receive automatic e-mail updates as we process your case. Just follow the link below to register.

Doesn't make much sense. I assume that's the "usual" status message, but my NOA date is May 11th so I'm not sure what they received (oh, silly me, they received a "CRI89 PETITION TO REMOVE CONDITIONS OF PERMANENT RESIDENCE STATUS RECEIVED") on May 29th.

Anyway, glad I have an appointment, and hope everyone else who's waiting gets theirs very soon!

2005 - We met

2006 - Filed I-129F

2007 - K-1 issued, moved to US, completed AOS (a busy year, immigration-wise)

2009 - Conditions lifted

2010 - Will be naturalising. Buh-bye, USCIS! smile.png

IMPORTANT!

Before you edit this list, please make sure that your VJ Text Editor setting is set

to Rich Text Editor. DO NOT JUST COPY AND PASTE. You can change your Text

Editor as follows:

1. Click on My Controls at the top of the page.

2. Click on Board settings at the lower left of the page.

3. In the drop down box under Posting Settings, change the type of editor

from Standard to Rich Text.

4. Save this change by clicking on the "Change my Account Options" button.

Then go to the most recently posted version of this list (go to the last post and

scroll UP) and "Reply" to it, deleting the "quote" tags at the beginning AND END of

your reply.

* Please DO NOT change the font, font size, add colors, stuff like that.

* Please PREVIEW before posting to make sure it is properly formatted. (A common

mistake is somehow screwing up so you have <b> and </b> HTML tags in these very

instructions instead of actual boldfaced text.)

REMEMBER: "Date of I-751" is the date you sent your petition - NOT the date it

arrived at the service center. "NOA1 Date" is the 'Notice Date' shown on the NOA1 —

NOT the date you received it.

Aha - now you mention it, mine says that too - thanks, Silke! :) My NOA is in my desk at work, and I'm at home right now, so couldn't check and see what it said on there. The wording on the USCIS site is a bit garbled, though - it seems a CRI89 is a "PETITION TO REMOVE CONDITIONS OF PERMANENT RESIDENT STATUS RECEIVED" which makes no sense at all. Yeah, I'm being pedantic and picky, I guess I know what they mean. ;)
