Hello,

Petitioned Fiancee and Son here to the U.S. from the Philippines. Fiancee is pregnant with our child and was unable to recieve the Medical shots (had chest x-ray) but Step-son did recieve shots.

Arrived-March 6th 2009

Applyed for SS cards (Son denied 10 years old)

Recieved SS card for fiancee

Married May 6th

Applied for name change on SS card of wife too married name

Recieved SS card with married name

Next step: We are not sure what to do. Can we file for AOS now ? Wait for the baby to be born then apply after she recieves her shots? From what i read we have to go to SG and get documents there. Whats the cost for all this to file for AOS for my wife and stepson (10) ? Thankyou, Ken @ Evelyn

Yes, you can apply for AOS now.

Baby born in the US will be a USC.

:guides: for information on cost and what you have to do. (top of webpage).

My Advice is usually based on "Worst Case Scenario" and what is written in the rules/laws/instructions. That is the way I roll... -Protect your Status - file before your I-94 expires.

WARNING: Phrases in this post may sound meaner than they were intended to be. Read the Adjudicator's Field Manual from USCIS
