nvc now sent us a letter saying that they have requested our file for review and please allow 60 days for a response what does this mean pls help us we have been waiting for 11 months now and this is the only letter besides our reciept letter we got in this 11 months anyone pls help us

It means they are reviewing your file.

It may tak 60 days, but most times, it is less than that.

If you don't hear anything in 60 days (from the date on the letter), call them and see what is going on.

My Advice is usually based on "Worst Case Scenario" and what is written in the rules/laws/instructions. That is the way I roll... -Protect your Status - file before your I-94 expires.
