Hi all, I just paid my AOS fee bill and IV feel bill. I am working on getting the I-864 and DS-2032 done. I have one question. My wife's passport will be expired in Dec this year. Do I need to renew her passport right away? For the passport's biographic page, does it matter whether I am sending in the photocopy for the current passport or the renewed one?

Please advice.

Maybe.

When my Husband went for his interview in Montreal, his passport was expiring in 5 months. They just issued him a visa that was good for 5 months.

Now, all consulates may not offer this, you do not have any information entered, so no one can help you with any consulate specific information.

I don't know about the photocopy vs the new passport.
