will our AP take long?

Hi guys my husband was put on AP after his interview since then ive been trying to think what to do but i really cant do anything but wait!

I just wanted to give some history about my husband and wanted to see if anyone could tell me from their own or others experience if my husbands AP will take long.............

-My husband is a muslim

-He is 23 years old

-He was born in Dubai BUT has a pakistani pasport

-The ONLY time he traveled out of Dubai was in 2006 to attend my brothers wedding(thats where we met;-)

-and he has a common muslim name Muhammad

If he hasnt travelled alot will the AP still take long? im so frustrated.......

Good Luck to everyone with their journey!

Well, I really don't know if it's gonna take long or not. They might want lots of proves though. Good Luck with your case. We all keep hope and that's the best we can do.

all these informations u stated can trigger the AP easily ..specially the name ..travelling ..and havin a pakistani passport ...

im not surprised if he was put in AP when u mention all of that ..

even if some is not applied to him ,mostly he would be put on AP

no one can determine when it will end ...me my self expecting it ...

patience just patience

Khadija,

There is no true timeline for AP. I know the waiting is very hard, its hard no matter where in the process a person is at.

I dont think his travel expeirnce has anything to do with it, and Im sorry to say, I think it is his name also, and also being Muslim, My husband is Muslim also, but not named Muhammed, so I pray we miss the AP after interview.

Have you check out the MENA site her on VJ, I know there is also another lady there where her husband is in AP also.

I wish you the very best for a very quick ending to the AP. Stay strong Khadija. Sometimes I do not think its fair , a person name and or religion gets AP, what I wonder is why wasnt this resolved with all the other back grounds check performed BEFORE the interview???? Inchallah this will be over soon for you and your husband.

Truly happy!!!

New life, new adventures, and a new attitude.
