Hi to all on this great site. A friend who went successfully through the K1 process recommended joining and it has been very helpful. Now I was always told there is no such thing as a stupid question: so here it goes. At the bottom of the G325A it has the heavy box - for my fiance' I obviously put her name in there on her form, but I was not sure if I place my name in my G325A or hers as to refer to our case. I bet it is my name, but I would rather have all my ducks quacking in the right direction. So thanks all.

I think you're in the wrong forum section if you are just now starting the I-129F process to get a fiance visa. This one is for people in the US already married and adjusting status. But for the 1-129F, you each do the biographical form G-325A. Hers has her name in the black box, and yours has your name. She must sign all four pages of her form. Here's the VJ sample forms page http://www.visajourney.com/forums/index.ph...p;page=examples which might help you. You can find those in the blue menu bar by clicking "Example Forms."

And here is the K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & Procedures General Discussion http://www.visajourney.com/forums/index.php?showforum=80

Good luck!

Thanks for reply. My confusion with the examples was that the one for the G32A has only the fiance and not the US citizen example, so therefore I was not sure what to put in the box since I have heard to leave it blank or put your own name in. thanks and I will try to move this post to the appropriate forum.

Petitioner and beneficiary each provide a G325a. The "applicant" in this context is the same as the name at the top. You for yours and them for theirs.
