Hello guys! I applied for both card and book in Atlanta , Ga on May 1st... regular service... so I'll post my info when I get all of the items.

My check was cashed like 3 days after I applied, and it is also online under "check status" option....... hopefully I'll be here between 2-4 weeks from now...

I dont know if all you know this.... but if you have applied for your passport, the website shows very little information about it... you can call their costumer service center, and they can tell you when you package was sent & give you a tracking number...much better than the website!! I hope this information helps... good luck to yall!

Hmm... I had checked the website and the first couple of days it couldn't find my application. Then it stated that the application has been received and that I applied for expedited service and that I might receive the card, book and certificate in separate mailings. It also stated the current processing times. I signed up for email updates and received one very promptly once the book had been mailed. Also, the status for that got updated online right away and, since it was overnight delivery, it gave me an expected delivery date. So I was pretty happy with that.

Still waiting on mine....ah well it gives me something to check online!! I don't know what I will do when the passport and Certificate are returned and I have nothing to check...lol

Got email to say my passport has been mailed to me....yah I am soooo excited I am almost done!!!

How boring life must be after all these are behind us. Now that I'm almost at the end of it, I kinda understand why many people linger on this website long after their journey is over. Some wants to help other people, and some just can't let go

I think I am a definate can't let go.... plus the process has changed since I did mine so now I dont even really like to give out advice as I am sure its that accurate!

When the passport is delivered does it have to be signed for or did they just leave it in the mailbox??
