Hi guys! I got a transfer notice of my I-751 to CSC from VSC on March 4. Got approval letter on April 6 with only one letter for my first name and full last name. I figured they mistyped it, so I called the cusomer service to make sure they fix it before I get the card. First they told me that they don't see my case as approved in their computer(ofcourse their system is always slow), and they sent a notice of correction to my card. Still didn't get the card. I'm wondering if by calling I only screwed it up, and now it will take forever for them to put it all together.

Any ideas or similar cases?

Hi, the approve letter always show the initial letter of your first name and last name. For your question, I really have no idea. hope you receive you card soon. However I was approve on March 24 and receive the card on April 12. The card was sent from california so it take longer time.

Oh! You silly girl/dude :bonk::bonk::bonk: ! That's NORMAL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Shouldn't have called the mis-information line. All of us know more than what the switchboard people knows. VSC/CSC transfer first got approval letter then got the GC with no online update is also normal. The switchboard people can only tell you what the online status can tell them, so they know no more than what you've already know.

First name initial and Full last name on the approval letter. Just like they did on the first NOA receipt. Did they spell your name on the biometrics appointment letter correctly? You should have your full name on that letter, double check it and let me know. If yes, then you have nothing to worry about.

By the way, Congratulations on your approval! (F) I don't remember if I've already said that, but if I did, here's another round of applause. :D

7/8/2010 - LUD, at 2:32am, received text msg and e-mail for req. for add'l evidence being mailed out on July 6th, believe it's for the FP

Congratulations on your approval. If you don't your card in 30-45 days make an infopass appointment to inquire about it. Like jasminelily, for approvals they type first initial and last name, like they do for NOA. The card will have your full name.
