Vacationing owners of a home in Clinton Township called police Monday night from Mexico, asking that cops break up a party their son was throwing at the family's Dartmouth Road house, police said.

The homeowners heard about the party from a neighbor, according to police. They called the cops around 9:30 p.m. When police arrived, garbage was strewn all over the house, and the family car, pool table, pool cues and bathroom were damaged, according to the report from Lt. Ryan Melsky.

In addition, police said the officers found that the family pet, a rabbit, dead. Although someone had frozen the rabbit, it was now thawing on a living room end table. Officers also found bread in the fish tank.

Police reported several partygoers barricaded themselves in the upstairs master bathroom.

One of them, Daniel Beaumont, 18 of Clinton Township, was charged with obstruction of justice and resisting arrest. He was taken to Hunterdon County Jail in lieu of $2,500 bail. On Friday, Beaumount was arrested at another Dartmouth Road party and charged with possession of marijuana.

Another teen discovered in the bathroom, Brendon Pedroza, 19 of Clinton Township, was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and under 50 grams of marijuana, maintaining a nuisance, obstruction of justice and resisting arrest. His bail was set at $2,500. Unable to pay, he was taken to county jail, too.

But when we turn to the Hebrew literature, we do not find such jokes about the donkey. Rather the animal is known for its strength and its loyalty to its master (Genesis 49:14; Numbers 22:30).

And threw bread into the fish tank!

Well, they fed the fish. But they froze the rabbit. I still can't comprehend that.
