I'm confused about CR1 and K3

Hello! Thanks for the responses on my last question. HEre I am again. Thank you for letting me know that we're are now actually doing the CR1 (so stupid that I didn't know). Anyway, I'm glad that is what has happened. We really planned on getting a K3, but since we are getting requests from NVC, it changed our route to CR1. I have some questions about it. We got a mail from USEM manila that our case is now ready for an interview schedule. So, we called USEM and got our interview schedule, though we're not done yet with NVC. But, since we are routed to CR1, should I just ignore the interview schedule set at USEM and wait for my case completion at NVC and wait till they give us our interview date? If I attend the interview schedule from USEM, will it change our route to K3?

Another question, is it NVC which gives interview schedule for CR1? and USEM for K3?

If you are being contacted by the USEM it is because the I-129F petition is there and are inquiring they are ready to proceed on it (K-3)

If you have not completed the NVC process then the I-130 is still there and will be forwarded to USEM when you are done. For most consulates nowadays, NVC sets the CR/IR visa interview appointment
