Hi,

I filed N-400 on 4/1 and haven't received the NOA yet. Nor did the check got cashed from the bank. I filed using regular mail, with no tracking number. I am in San Diego and used the Arizona Lockbox address.

How long should I wait before sending another application. I should have used the tracking number...but now it's too late.

Thanks...

I wouldn't get too concerned yet, 2 weeks is not unheard of for first NOA.

The above is not legal advice.

It is either from research or merely my opinion.

Hang tight for a few more days...see what happens and if you don't hear call them up and ask them if they received anything. Good luck!

Congrats Gopal. Man you going to have to be patient with the guys, or it's going to drive you crazy. This is your first step and it's already driving you crazy. Think about how long till the next notice and then the next one. Relax my friend ( I know it's hard). Also do something else with your time so it will keep you busy. Heck it still drives me crazy thinking I have to wait for X amount of days for my oath. Good luck

yeah....I know it's a long journey, and I need to have patience....But I saw from other posts that checks getting cashed in less than a week.

Anyway, it seems that things are going fine till now..
