NOA2 validity

hi VJers,

im just wondering if what is this validity all about the noa2? is this the validity that i should need to be in the US before it expires or it would mean something else? coz right now i will have my medical next week and may 6 is my interview. thanks ahead for your reply:)

August 6, 2009 - AOS Sent together with EAD and AP
August 17, 2009 - Received NOAs of AOS, EAD and AP
Sept. 15, 2009 - Biometrics Appointment
Sept. 24, 2009 - Received E-mail approval notice for EAD and AP
October 2, 2009 - AP on hand
October 3, 2009 - EAD card on hand
November 12, 2009 - Interview Date / Approved
November 23, 2009 - Green Card Received

March 21, 2012 - Lifting Conditions

May 22, 2013 - Citizenship

It means within that 4 months validity, you have to gather and accomplish all the requirements needed before your interview. Good luck!

Hi MarPhee! Don't worry about your NOA2 coz i've read somewhere in Manila Embassy K1 Visa Guide about the NOA2 expiration and it says:

SECTION 4 - Post NOA2 (Approval Notice) Information

4.1 NOA2 EXPIRATION DATE - Don't be alarmed if the visa interview is scheduled after the NOA2 expiration date because the Consular Officer (CO) at the Manila Embassy will automatically revalidate the petition by extend the expiration date in four months increments until all actions are finalized . No actions by the USC and/or beneficiary are required.

My NOA2's expiration date is on Apr. 17, 09 and my interview date is on May 6th too, but i would still try to get an earlier slot this April if possible. :star:
