Hey guys, for the AOS interview, we do not have any civil marriage pics as it was a quick civil marriage in Cairo, Egypt. We have yet to get a civil marriage in the US. We will have a ceremonial marriage in Egypt with his family and mine when we can get financials worked out. In the meantime, I have too many pics of him with my family and us going on a few trips here, as well as joint bank accounts and utility bills. Do you think we can make it through without the marriage pics? thank you!

I am sure you are not the first and won't be the last who don't have photographs of their civil wedding. Photographs are considered secondary evidence so they are used to support primary evidence instead of standing on their own. Include photographs with family members, your marriage certificate and primary evidence (joint accounts, etc.) that you now have showing your life together and you should be fine. Good luck.

“...Isn't it splendid to think of all the things there are to find out about? It just makes me feel glad to be alive--it's such an interesting world. It wouldn't be half so interesting if we knew all about everything, would it? There'd be no scope for imagination then, would there?”

We have our interview next Monday and have a similar situation...we have about 4 photos of our wedding here in the US and NONE of our wedding in Egypt... And the 4 photos taken here don't look at ALL like wedding photos because we got married after the Jummah Prayer at the Islamic School near our house (so the kids could witness an Islamic marriage...) We were married in Egypt 15 months before and we've both been married before.. so "the wedding" wasn't really BIG Deal...

Guess I'll find out Monday..
