When you register with the USCIS Case Status Service Online you'll be able to see any action on your pending petition. You will need your receipt number to register and the system will show a date on it. Every time this date changes it means that someone touched your petition.

hi, :)

can somebody teach me what does "touched" mean?

i'm trying to check on my pending petition to see if it has been "touched" yet

can you please tell me how i can do it?

Thanks !! :)

Touch means USCIS has done someting with your petition, usually when then wand "touch" your petition ,the date changes on the Case Status site of the USCIS website.

Go to uscis.com and create a account / On Line Status for yourself. You will need your NOA 1 to do so.

Its easy to do so.

Good luck.

Keep in mind if you dont receive touches, it does not mean a thing, many petitions approved without ever showing a touch.

Dont live for the USCIS touches... Live for today!!
