Turn on, tune in, drop out.

Don't just open your mouth and prove yourself a fool....put it in writing.

It gets harder the more you know. Because the more you find out, the uglier everything seems.

That was a very good year.

LSD?

I remember that stuff. Never tried it myself, but I remember it was selling for $2 a hit back in the early 1970's. White Owsley, Purple Haze, Windowpane, Blotter, etc. Mescaline for sale back then too, but I think it was probably LSD in the capsules they sold back then. Also $2 a hit. I knew kids in my neighborhood that messed with stuff like that. They showed me, but I wasn't interested.

I'm not proud of it, but I did do some Psilocybin mushrooms a couple of times in my teen years. I went out in a cow pasture and picked them myself (for free). Chewed them up with Hawaiian Punch and swallowed them. Talk about a strange trip indeed. At least with mushrooms I knew what I was taking since I picked them myself. Who knows what is in a bootleg pill on the black market?

Psilocybin mushrooms grow all over the southern USA in organic matter such as rotten wood or cow turds. I have no idea whether that was legal or not back in the early 1970's. When you are a teenager you pretty much don't give a ####### either way.

I'd never do that again. At my age now I look back at it as stupid punk sh*t. Kids being kids. Nothing to be proud of.

"Credibility in immigration policy can be summed up in one sentence: Those who should get in, get in; those who should be kept out, are kept out; and those who should not be here will be required to leave."

"...for the system to be credible, people actually have to be deported at the end of the process."

US Congresswoman Barbara Jordan (D-TX)

Testimony to the House Immigration Subcommittee, February 24, 1995
