I think your answer might be better then the one i'll have. I'm 21 and I don't have a career... I'm graduating in June with my BA, and who the heck knows what i'm going to be doing after I get my EAD. Maybe I shouldn't phrase it like that? ahaha. My Fiance's family owns a business, so I figured I could just say I plan on working for them? It's not really the plan... more like the backup plan.

Weird about the health insurance thing! I'll have to get Bill to research that a little before the interview so we have a good answer if asked. Do they let the USC talk at all? Or should I talk for him?

Strange what you learn about people after a couple months talking over a message board. Poprocks? A model and exotic dancer? bow chica bow bow ;) (I'm so inappropriate sometimes, I apologize for that one) But don't even worry!! Like you said, its not like you're doing anything illegal and hey... exotic dancers make good money (from what I hear)

Your fiance gets sworn in as well and he is totally allowed to answer questions. I think my fiance spoke more than I did during our interview!

No. They deny people for being unable to support the beneficiary, for crimes of moral turpitude, for having contagious diseases. They don't care what you do for a living or if you have health insurance.

Did you see a post or read something that said this?

HAHAHA!!! No def no demo's!!!! :)

Thanks for the feedback guys...

We don't have concrete wedding plans yet, as we are marrying on the beach at the Jersey Shore.... but I will have a copy of my marriage license that we will try and obtain if it stays valid for 90 days or so. Also, we will not have an exact address of where we will be living, as we are in the process of finding a bigger house.... but all current info I know thoroughly.

Do they ever ask questions about your fiances family? Mind you, I hve met them all and know the info, just curious.... Do they look for proof of a big engagement? we agreed to get 'engaged' last May, and got a temp ring... then after we filed for our Visa, he proposed with my real ring...

I guess the whole Consulate thing is intimidating.

The $131 needs to be in cash? I will have to pay a fee for each myself and my son?

Pop, they did ask me about my fiancee's family... he asked his parents name, how many siblings, and where they live.... I guess to make sure I really know them.... he also asked details about the engagement, the date, did he get down on one knee, etc.

That's fantastic! I heard somewhere that the interviewer will never address the USC because the interview shouldn't involve them... I guess that was pretty wrong. That makes me feel a little better, thanks Sapphire!

Thanks to everyone who shared their experiences. I think I can answer these types of questions rather well!

On a random note, I always tell people i'd work at Hooters if I had a cuter butt for those booty shorts. I would too! I bet those girls make good tips!
