The US tax system does seem skewed toward penalizing the 'almost rich' more than anyone else, which as they are the biggest cohort and proportionally left in the worst position by being so, would seem rather repressive on those people. Time for the middle class revolution! :)

I agree people making 250k aren't making so much to be taxed so disproportionately, especially if they live in a big city. Ah well, the people who find it easy to spend what they make shouldn't be paying 50 different kinds of taxes. While I have to agree that I have no heart for the people making more than millions, don't tell me that they are earning THAT, or that it's hurting them to pay 10 million when they made 30 million in the year. Maybe 20 million could be spent in a year without having something of value to show for it, but I think it'd be pretty frickin' hard. Understand they don't give out money, they still make INVESTMENTS which grant them more money. Granted the oversight and efficiency of the tax system and government in general is laughably painful. So if the President endeavors to improve it, God bless him, we need a miracle though.
