In I-864 part 5 it asks for sponsor's household size and I have my brother as joint sponsor who will send I-864A with me. He has his own family of total 3 so should I just add 1 or 3 in part 5 sec g. Please let me know if you had same situation.

I didn't use a joint sponsor, but I believe that you and your brother will fill out the I-864 independently. For your brother, he will list the following under question 21:

b. 1 for himself

c. 1 for his wife if married

d. the number of children he has

e. the number of other persons he is financially responsible for

So if he has a total of 3 dependents including himself, then line h will show a total 4 which also includes your spouse whom he is sponsoring.

He will only use section g if he lives with family members who will also use their income for the I-864.
